Tammy Silkwood Charged in DUI Crash on Highway 101 near Wadsworth Avenue

 
PISMO BEACH, CA (January 20, 2022) — Tammy Silkwood faces charges in a DUI accident on Highway 101 near Wadsworth Avenue on Saturday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the major injury accident happened around 9:15 p.m. For DUI-related reasons, 55-year-old Silkwood lost control of her Honda Accord. Subsequently, the Honda struck a guardrail, drove down an embankment and struck a tree.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel responded and brought Silkwood and two others to a hospital with moderate to major injuries. According to an investigation, Silkwood had been under the influence at the time of the accident, which later led to her arrest.
