Rider Dies after Colliding with SUV at Chester Avenue and Second Street

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 20, 2021)Taliron Lee Williams was killed in an off-road motorcycle accident in Bakersfield Friday evening on September 10.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Chester Avenue and Second Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 32-year-old victim was riding his off-road motorcycle when he collided with a sport utility vehicle.
 
The impact caused Williams significant injuries. Paramedics rushed him to Kern Medical Center, where he later died, according to the Kern County coroner’s office.
 
It is unknown at this time if speed, drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
 
The Bakersfield Police Department is still investigating the fatality.
