Sydney Barron Dies in Pedestrian Accident at Shields Avenue and West Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (April 9, 2021) — Sydney Barron died in a pedestrian accident at Shields Avenue and West Avenue Sunday.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the 28-year-old was purportedly lying on the ground in a 99 Cent Only parking lot. Meanwhile, a female driver who did not notice her ran over her.
 
As a result of the crash, Barron – described as a possible homeless person – suffered grave injuries and died at a nearby hospital. Police officers responded soon after and interviewed the driver at the scene who did not appear to be impaired.
