Rollover Crash on 5 Freeway in Glenn County Kills Woman and Injures Man

 
GLENN COUNTY, CA (January 25, 2023) – Susan Beach was killed and Evan Beach was injured in a rollover crash in Glenn County on Sunday morning.
 
The crash happened around 6:00 a.m. on January 22, along the 5 Freeway near County Road 35. Susan Beach, a 68-year-old San Jose resident, was driving a 2005 Ford northbound at approximately 70 mph when she veered off the roadway for unknown reasons. She turned sharply, causing the Ford to overturn on its roof.
 
First responders extricated Susan from the vehicle and pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
Evan Beach, 39, was a passenger in the vehicle. An air ambulance took him to Enloe Medical Center with moderate injuries.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
