SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 4, 2022) — Officials arrested 43-year-old Summer Wilson after a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday, February 1.
 
According to Deputy Natalie Arriaga, the incident occurred on Bouquet Canyon Road and David Way at about 7:40 a.m.
 
Arriaga said that a white Ford Excursion struck a pedestrian. However, the vehicle left in an unknown direction.
 
The teenage pedestrian had moderate injuries. Medics rushed her to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
 
Deputies found the vehicle a short period later and detained Wilson pending investigation.
 
Officers arrested Wilson on felony charges of a hit-and-run causing injury or death. Then they released her on a citation the next day, according to booking logs.
 
The investigation of the incident is still ongoing.
