Steven Pallares Dies after Crashing into Back of Semi-Truck on Highway 58 at Towerline Road

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 19, 2021) – Steven Alejandro Pallares was killed in a semi-truck accident on Highway 58 in Bakersfield Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 5:19 a.m. on October 17, just west of Towerline Road. According to the CHP, Pallares was driving eastbound on the highway when he rear-ended the semi-truck for unknown reasons.
 
The impact caused Pallares fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was a 34-year-old Arvin resident, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
 
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Officers asked anyone with information to call Bakersfield CHP at 661-396-6600.
