40-Year-Old Woman Dies after Crashing Car into Light Pole in Long Beach, Passenger Injured

 
LONG BEACH, CA (January 2, 2022)Stephanie Moreno was killed in a car accident in Long Beach Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m., on January 1, on Seventh Street near Los Altos Avenue. According to the Long Beach Police Department, Moreno was driving her 2008 Honda Civic eastbound on Seventh Street. The car went off the road as it approached Los Altos Avenue and struck a light pole and two unoccupied parked cars.
 
The impact of the crash caused Moreno severe injuries and she died at the scene. She was a 40-year-old Long Beach resident.
 
A male passenger in the car sustained injuries and was treated at the scene.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The crash remains under investigation.
