Multi-Vehicle Accident on 5 Freeway near Verdugo Avenue Kills Soonataa Noa

 
BURBANK, CA (August 13, 2022) – Soonataa Noa was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway in Burbank on Wednesday morning, August 10.
 
The accident happened around 8:20 a.m. near Verdugo Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles including a semi truck collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
 
When officers arrived, they found Noa suffering from fatal injuries and pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
Noa was 53 years old, the CHP said.
 
Several lanes of the southbound 5 Freeway were impacted throughout the morning due to an extensive amount of debris and gasoline spillage on the road.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
