24-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicles in Baldwin Park

 
BALDWIN PARK, CA (February 5, 2025) – Sonny Provencio was hit and killed by several vehicles in Baldwin Park early Tuesday morning on February 4.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:09 a.m. on 10 Freeway at the 605 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, Provencio was walking along the eastbound 10 Freeway when he was struck by several vehicles.
 
When officers arrived, they found him in the first and second lanes of the freeway connector road.
 
Provencio suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 24 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.
 
It was unclear if the involved drivers stayed after the crash.
 
It was also unknown if drug or alcohol was a factor. Further investigation is underway.
