ANAHEIM, CA (July 14, 2022) — A skateboarder was hit and killed by a driver near Bellhaven Street and Sunkist Street on Tuesday.
 
According to reports, the fatal skateboarding accident happened around 8:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a red four-door sedan struck the man riding a skateboard.
 
Shortly after, Anaheim Police and paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed one fatality.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the skateboarder’s name and cause of the crash. However, Anaheim Police do not suspect DUI to have played a role in the accident.
