Accident on Hollister Avenue in Goleta Leaves Skateboarder in Critical Condition

 
GOLETA, CA (March 28, 2021) – A skateboarder was critically injured Saturday evening after an accident on Hollister Avenue in Goleta.
 
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the accident happened around 9:50 p.m. in the 6300 block of Hollister Avenue, across from the Santa Barbara Airport.
 
The skateboarder collided with a vehicle, causing him major injuries. American Medical Response ambulance transported her to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in critical condition.
 
It is unclear if anyone else sustained any injuries. It is also unknown if the driver of the vehicle had stayed after the crash.
 
Further investigation is underway.
