Six Hospitalized after Head-On Crash on Broadway Street near Harris Street

 
EUREKA, CA (June 30, 2021) — Several people suffered injuries in a head-on accident on Broadway Street on Friday, June 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on 3150 Broadway Street and Harris Street near Carl’s Jr. restaurant at around 8 p.m.
 
Reports said that two vehicles collided head-on because of undetermined circumstances.
 
CHP said seven people including a pregnant woman and a child were part of the incident. Officers extricated two of them from one of the vehicles.
 
Paramedics rushed six people to the hospital for treatment. Two patients were in critical condition.
 
Authorities diverted northbound Broadway traffic to Harris as they cleared and investigated the scene.
 
CHP is in charge of the ongoing investigation.
