2 Separate Traffic Accidents on Highway 25 in Gilroy Hurts Several People

 
GILROY, CA (May 4, 2022) – Several people were injured after two separate traffic accidents on Highway 25 in Gilroy.
 
The first accident happened around 11:17 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, near Bolsa Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided in unclear circumstances. The impact injured several people, but the exact number was unknown.
 
Around 12:25 a.m. Sunday, May 1, CHP officials received a report of another collision on the same stretch of the highway involving four vehicles, one of which wound up in a creek.
 
Paramedics responded and transported the injured patients to a hospital for treatment.
 
Crews closed the highway in both directions for nearly two hours while they cleared the wreckage.
 
Further investigation into these accidents is underway.
