SACRAMENTO, CA (April 18, 2022) — Several people were injured in a 3-car accident on 47th Avenue at 46th Street on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle accident involved a semi-truck. For unknown reasons, a car and an SUV crashed into each other and involved a big rig during the incident.
 
Due to the crash, officers closed down the eastbound and westbound lanes of 47th Avenue to investigate the crash. Meanwhile, paramedics brought at least one person to a nearby hospital for treatment of major injuries.
 
At this time, officials have not reported on the leading cause of the crash and the conditions of the patients. However, we will update this report once we receive additional details.
