FAIRFIELD, CA (July 26, 2022) – At least seven people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on 80 Freeway on July 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened between Manuel Campus Parkway and Lagoon Valley Road at approximately 10:10 AM.
 
Based on reports, a red Subaru made an unsafe lane change on the freeway. Subsequently, it sideswiped a blue Tesla which, in turn, crashed into a pickup truck towing a travel trailer. In the end, the pickup and the Subaru went up the embankment and crashed through a fence onto the edge of Lyon Road.
 
As a result, seven people sustained minor injuries in the pile-up. Paramedics transported the victims to hospitals for treatment.
 
In addition, the crash also shut down the slow lane on the freeway.
 
At this point, an investigation is ongoing. Also, other details are not yet clear at this time.
