Scott Willet Detained in Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accident on Florida Avenue at Stanford Street

 
HEMET, CA (May 13, 2021)Scott Willet was charged in Sunday’s hit-and-run motorcycle accident on Florida Avenue at Stanford Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:35 a.m. Under unknown conditions, Scott David Willet struck the motorcyclist at the intersection. Soon after, paramedics arrived and rushed the Harley-Davidson rider to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, police found an unoccupied Ford that bore significant damage from the crash, but its driver nowhere on site.
 
Eventually, 50-year-old Willet turned himself in and now faces hit-and-run charges. As of now, the crash remains under investigation. Although, if anyone has more details on this accident, please contact the CHP at (951) 769-2000.
