Plane Crashes near Berryessa Estates in Napa County Killing 2 People

 
NAPA COUNTY, CA (July 26, 2022) – Scott Killian and Dreyson Hicks died in a plane crash in Napa County on Sunday morning, July 17.
 
Killian, a 61-year-old Roseville resident, was piloting the plane when it crashed near Berryessa Estates, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.
 
Killian died in the crash along with 22-year-old Hicks from Rocklin.
 
The crash also caused a vegetation fire that grew to one to two acres before firefighters from Cal Fire had it contained at 10:27 a.m.
 
The National Transportation Safety Board is handling the investigation. They have not released the exact cause of the crash.
