65-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Car on Waterman Avenuein San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (November 30, 2021) – Sandra Jean Wright was killed in a hit-and-run crash in San Bernardino on Sunday night.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:09 p.m. on November 28, in the area of Waterman Avenue and 10th Street. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, Wright was walking outside of a crosswalk when a white sedan struck her.
 
After the crash, the involved driver did not stop. The sedan was last seen heading through the nearby Waterman Discount Mall parking lot and then going east on 9th Street.
 
Wright, a 65-year-old Highland resident, died at the scene, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division.
