Passenger Sahtarria Anderson Dies after DUI Driver Crashes into Another Car in Winchester

 
WINCHESTER, CA (May 2, 2022) – Sahtarria Anderson died in a DUI accident in Winchester late Thursday evening on April 28.
 
The accident happened around 10:55 p.m. on Domenigoni Parkway, just east of Patterson Avenue. According to the CHP, a 23-year-old Wildomar man was driving a Honda Civic the wrong way on Domenigoni Parkway when he slammed head-on into a Chevrolet Malibu, driven by a 31-year-old Hemet man.
 
Anderson was a front-seat passenger in the Malibu. She died at Wildomar’s Inland Valley Medical Center around 1:31 a.m. She was a 32-year-old Menifee resident, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.
 
The two drivers were also in serious condition at the same hospital.
 
Police later arrested the driver of the Civic on suspicion of driving under the influence.
 
An investigation into this fatal crash is underway.
