Sabrina Lecce Killed, Balthazar Donato Detained in San Ardo DUI Accident

 
SAN ARDO, CA (February 8, 2021) — Sabrina Lecce died in a suspected DUI accident on Highway 101 near Alvarado Road Tuesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 5:00 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, 27-year-old Balthazar Donato began driving northbound in the southbound lanes. Shortly after, Donato, of Greenfield, crashed his vehicle into an oncoming car driven by Lecce, of Shandon.
 
Due to the impact, Donato’s vehicle rolled over and came to a rest near the median while Lecce’s vehicle stopped on an embankment.
 
As a result of the accident, 23-year-old Lecce died in the crash. However, her 23-year-old passenger, also from Shandon, survived the accident yet with minor injuries.
