Sabrina Cross Injured, Valerio Castro Arrested in DUI Accident on Kimberly Drive and Highway 29

 
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (April 30, 2021) — A 29-year-old Rodeo resident, Sabrina Cross, suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Sunday, April 25.
 
According to Sgt. Mike Milat of the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Valerio Castro, of Fairfield, was at the wheel of a Ford Mustang on Kimberly Drive. Then it turned left from Kimberly into the northbound lanes of Highway 29. Then it entered the path of Cross’ SUV and the vehicles crashed at 6:08 a.m.
 
Cross who was behind the SUV suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics brought her to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
 
A passenger in Cross’s vehicle did not sustain any injuries, Milat said.
 
Authorities detained Castro and booked her into the Napa County jail on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence.
