Rosalyn Barnett Killed in Scooter Crash on Turk Street in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 10, 2022) – Police identified Rosalyn Barnett as the woman who died in a hit-and-run crash on Turk Street on May 1.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Taylor Street around 8:30 PM.
Based on reports, Barnett was riding a scooter at the time of the crash. San Francisco police initially said a car struck her. Subsequently, the driver fled the scene. No suspect or vehicle information was immediately available.
As a result, Barnett suffered major injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported her to a hospital, where she later died. The city’s Medical Examiner’s Office identified her as a 34-year-old San Francisco resident.
As of now, police ask anyone with information about the case to call the Police Department’s tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message. Also, no other details are available.
