DESERT HOT SPRINGS (March 17, 2021) — At about 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, the authorities responded to a car accident on Highway 62 in the area of Desert Hot Springs.
 
The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident happened near Indian Canyon Drive.
 
At about 10 a.m. on March 10, a woman was reportedly driving a car on Highway 62 when the vehicle went off the road. It subsequently rolled over 80 feet down an embankment and finally came to stop on its roof.
 
CHP officers said the female driver was the sole occupant of the car. Paramedics evaluated her at the scene and reported her without injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP also reported that they found another vehicle with a detached bumper near the scene of the rollover crash.
 
Part of Highway 62 remained closed while emergency responders and law enforcement worked on the scene. All lanes have since reopened.
 
Meantime, officials have yet to disclose what caused the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
