Lake Forest Woman Dies after Struck by Big Rig at Winchester and Murrieta Hot Springs Roads

 
TEMECULA, CA (January 24, 2022) – Robin Kropp was killed pedestrian accident in Temecula on Saturday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 4:00 p.m. on January 22, at Winchester Road and Murrieta Hot Springs Road. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the driver of a 2020 Freightliner tractor-trailer made a right turn on a green light from westbound Murrieta Hot Springs to northbound Winchester Road.
 
For unknown reasons, Kropp stepped out onto the marked crosswalk on Winchester Road. The big rig then struck the woman, causing it to roll over her.
 
Kropp suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the big rig, 44-year-old Fabian Sisneros of Selma, remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
At this time, there are no arrests made. An investigation is still ongoing.
