Pedestrian Dies in Early Morning Crash on Power Inn Road in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 14, 2021) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident early Saturday morning near the Colonial Village neighborhood.
 
The accident happened around 2:30 a.m., March 13, on Power Inn Road north of Fruitridge Avenue. The Sacramento Police Department said a vehicle struck the male pedestrian in unknown circumstances.

As a result, the man suffered severe injuries. Responding officers performed life-saving measures, but he died at the scene.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 55-year-old Robert Moyse of Sacramento.

The involved driver was uninjured and remained at the scene, cooperating with law enforcement.

Police are still investigating the accident to determine the cause and factors involved.
