70-Year-Old Robert Davis Dies in Devore Heights Crash on 215 Freeway

 
DEVORE HEIGHTS, CA (June 8, 2021) – Robert T. Davis was killed in a motorcycle accident in Devore Heights late Saturday evening, June 5.
 
The accident happened around 10:06 p.m. on 215 Freeway near Devore Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 70-year-old Perris man was riding his Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle south on the freeway. For unknown reasons, he collided into another motorcycle, ejecting him onto the roadway.
 
A Chevrolet Equinox traveling about 65 mph then struck Davis while he was down in the roadway.
 
As a result, Davis suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
At this time, it is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.
