Robert Briones Killed in Pedestrian Accident on West Philadelphia Street [Ontario, CA]

63-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle at West Philadelphia Street and South Fern Avenue

 
ONTARIO, CA (November 13, 2022) – Robert Gonzalez Briones was killed in a pedestrian accident in Ontario Friday last month on October 28.
 
The accident happened around 8:38 p.m. at West Philadelphia Street and South Fern Avenue. According to the Ontario Police Department, Briones was walking at the intersection when a vehicle struck him.
 
First responders rushed him to Kaiser Foundation Ontario Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:02 p.m. He was a 63-year-old Ontario resident.
 
It was unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
The Ontario Police Department is handling the investigation.
