Robbery Suspects Involved in Two-Vehicle Accident on 805 Freeway at Market Street in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 28, 2022) – Police responded to the scene after a robbery incident ended in a two-vehicle accident on 805 Freeway on April 24.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Market Street. Based on a report, two black males robbed a 76 Gas Station at gunpoint in the City of Santee before fleeing the scene.
 
Then, officers found the suspects’ car, a green Mustang with a black hood on the freeway. They fled at a high rate of speed after an officer tried to stop them. Subsequently, the suspect’s car crashed into the rear of an SUV. Police said both suspects fled on foot.
 
Fortunately, the woman driving the SUV was not hurt in the incident.
 
In the end, officers were able to detain one of the suspects.
 
At this point, officers are still looking for the second suspect. Also, no other details are available.
