Motorcyclist Dies in Western Avenue Crash in Gardena
GARDENA, CA (October 7, 2024) — A rider died in a motorcycle accident on Western Avenue near 139th Street on Saturday.
The Gardena Police Department responded to the multi-vehicle crash around 6:09 p.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a motorcyclist rear-ended a bus and struck another vehicle after traveling southbound on Western Avenue.
Subsequently, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to attend to the motorcyclist who passed away from severe injuries. Officials did not release the individual’s name.
