Injuries Sustained in Train vs. Motorcycle Crash on Adams Boulevard in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 24, 2021) – A person suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Adams Boulevard south of downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night.

According to the Los Angeles fire officials, reports about the incident came in at past 9 p.m. Firefighters and paramedics immediately responded to the scene at 427 Adams Boulevard and found that a motorcycle collided with a Blue Line train.

Details about the crash are scarce as of this time. However, initial findings indicated that the motorcycle crashed into the train.

Paramedics rushed the motorcycle rider to a hospital with stable vital signs. The identity of the patient has not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, there was no information available on whether anyone on the train got hurt.

The crash forced the closure of the tracks while the authorities conducted an investigation. The train tracks have since reopened.

Train tracks and railroad crossings are a major safety concern. Only cross at designated railroad crossings marked by a sign, lights, or a gate. Never rush across as trains may be closer and faster than you think. Patiently wait for the trains to pass, the lights to stop flashing, and the gates to lift before crossing.
