Rider Sustained Injuries in a Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway near Beach Boulevard

 
BUENA PARK, CA (August 17, 2021) — One person suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on 5 Freeway on Thursday, August 12.
 
According to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Paul Holaday, a white work truck and motorcycle crashed on 5 Freeway at Beach Boulevard at 2:45 p.m.
 
The impact ejected the motorcyclist. The rider landed in the center divider, California Highway Patrol said.
 
An ambulance responded to the crash site and OCFA medics took the rider to a medical center. Officials have not released the extent of his condition.
 
According to a CHP spokesman, it was not a fatality. He did not disclose any other information about the incident.
