Motorcyclist Hurt, Driver Arrested after DUI Accident on Harbor Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 20, 2021) — A motorcyclist was hurt after a DUI crash on Harbor Drive at around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15.
According to San Diego Police, the 24-year-old man rode a 2014 Aprilia RSV4 motorcycle on Harbor Drive. Then a 41- year-old man in a Nissan Versa struck him. The driver had parked along the curb in the 2400 block of Harbor Drive before the crash.
Police said that as the driver made a left turn from the curb, the motorcyclist broadsided the Nissan. The impact threw the rider off the bike. Medics rushed him to a hospital with a broken leg.
Officers arrested the driver of the Nissan under suspicion of DUI.
