Rick Moore Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash in Anaheim
ANAHEIM, CA (November 28, 2022) — Rick Dale Moore died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Katella Avenue near Magnolia Street early Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal hit-and-run happened in a marked crosswalk. Under unclear circumstances, a driver bearing eastbound on Katella Avenue struck 30-year-old Moore in a marked crosswalk.
The driver of the speeding pickup continued and left Long Beach resident Moore with fatal injuries.
At this time, California Highway Patrol officers need the public’s help in identifying the suspect and locating the late-model vehicle that is dark in color and possibly a Chevrolet brand.
