Car Crashes into Freight Train in Dinuba Killing Driver Raymond Garza, Injuring Passenger
DINUBA, CA (August 22, 2022) – Raymond Garza was killed in a train and car accident in Dinuba on Saturday morning, August 20.
The fatal accident happened just after 2:00 a.m. on Avenue 424 at the San Joaquin Valley Railroad tracks near Road 72. According to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Garza was driving a Toyota Camry when he ran into the freight train that was parked along the railroad tracks.
29-year-old Garza died upon impact.
A female passenger suffered moderate injuries.
The family has set up a GoFundMe to help pay for funeral expenses.
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
