Raymond Garza Dead, Vehicle Crashes Into Stopped Train on Avenue 424 near Road 72

 
DINUBA, CA (August 22, 2022) — Raymond Garza died after his car crashed into a stopped train on Avenue 424 near Road 72 on Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol Visalia Area Office, officials began receiving reports around 2:00 a.m. of a crash in Dinuba.
 
Upon responding, investigators learned that a car had collided with a stationary train on the railroad tracks just west of Road 72.
 
Upon further investigating, officers determined that 29-year-old Garza crashed his 2007 Toyota Camry directly into a stationary train, where the tracks were complete with crossing arms.
 
As a result of the accident, Garza died at the scene from his injuries.
 
His 26-year-old female passenger was taken to an area hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
