1 Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident on 215 Freeway near Martin Luther King Boulevard
MORENO VALLEY, CA (March 24, 2021) – A pregnant woman sustained injuries in a car accident on 215 Freeway, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 11:25 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, three vehicles collided in the HOV and fast lanes.
The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to become disabled, blocking a total of three lanes near Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The Riverside Fire Department paramedics rendered aid to one of the drivers. As per reports, the Honda sedan driver, described as a pregnant woman, complained of pain. However, the victim refused hospitalization.
At 11:45 a.m. responders opened one lane but two other lanes remained closed.
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
