Pregnant Teen Hurt in San Diego 2-Car Crash on 28th Street

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 7, 2021) — A pregnant teen suffered injuries in a 2-car accident on 28th Street at Imperial Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the two-car crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a 2005 Honda Civic ran a red light. Subsequently, the Honda T-boned a 2006 Chevy 1500 truck at the intersection.
 
Following the collision, paramedics responded and transported a pregnant 18-year-old, who was a passenger in the Honda, to a hospital after she had fallen unconscious during the crash. Meanwhile, both drivers suffered minor injuries, including chest and shoulder pains.
