Possible Injuries in Arroyo Grande Big Rig Crash on Highway 101

 
ARROYO GRANDE, CA (May 26, 2021) — A big rig accident on Highway 101 near Halcyon Road Tuesday afternoon left two lanes closed.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes. For unknown reasons, a big rig and a trailer crashed near the center divider and blocked the No. 1 traffic lane.
 
As a result, traffic began moving slowly through the area as of 2:00 p.m.
 
At this time, authorities have not released any information on if anyone was injured. However, witnesses with information on this crash should contact the CHP.
