Possible Injuries, 10-Car Crash on Highway 118 in Northridge

 
NORTHRIDGE, CA (July 1, 2022) — Injuries were possible in a 10-car accident on Highway 118 near Reseda Boulevard on Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 6:52 a.m. For unknown reasons, several vehicles, including a semi-truck, collided on the westbound side of the highway.
 
As a result, authorities responded and tended to the accident, which left the big rig blocking all freeway lanes. Soon after, tow trucks arrived at the scene and hauled away five vehicles.
 
At this time, reports included no information on the injured, if any, and the leading cause of the crash. However, CHP investigators will look into this crash more closely to identify the possible factors.
