Man Arrested after DUI Accident on Mission Boulevard near Parcels Street in Pomona

 
POMONA, CA (February 10, 2022) – A police officer sustained injuries in a DUI accident on Mission Boulevard, late Friday evening.
 
According to the Pomona Police Department, the incident happened on February 4, shortly before midnight. Due to unknown circumstances, two vehicles collided near the area of Mission Boulevard and Parcels Street.
 
The impact of the collision then caused both vehicles to slam into a nearby building.
 
As per reports, a Pomona Police Department officer sustained injuries in the collision. However, it is unknown whether the officer needed hospitalization.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Officers later arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.
