Fontana Police Officer Hospitalized after Car Accident on Baseline Avenue near Orlando Drive

FONTANA, CA (August 17, 2021) – A police officer sustained injuries in a car accident on Baseline Avenue August 10.
According to the Fontana Police Department, the incident happened at about 5:55 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, the officer’s vehicle collided with another vehicle near Orlando Drive.
Emergency crews later transported the police officer to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
As per reports, the police vehicle sustained moderate damage.
Fontana police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
