PETALUMA, CA (March 23, 2023) — Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident on Colwood Drive near Park Lane.
 
According to Petaluma Police officers, the hit-and-run car accident happened around 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses informed police that they saw a driver of a Chevrolet Camaro strike a retaining wall and flee eastbound on Colwood Drive.
 
With the help of surveillance footage nearby, authorities were able to determine the make and model of the car. Police followed a trail of dark liquid to Crinella Drive and located the vehicle with front-end damage abandoned on Parent Way. The driver, however, was nowhere to be found.
