Man Trapped in Car after San Diego Rollover Crash on Highway 56
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 8, 2021) – Police confirmed that a police chase ended in a rollover crash on Highway 56 on December 6.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Carmel Valley Road after 3:30 AM.
Based on a report, San Diego County sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull over a suspicious vehicle in San Marcos. However, the car drove away and led deputies on a high-speed chase onto Highway 156.
In the end, the car lost control and rolled over near Carmel Valley. As a result, the rollover ejected and trapped one person under the vehicle.
Responding firefighters and deputies worked together to lift the car to free the man. Then, paramedics transported him to the hospital with unknown injuries. Two other people in the car suffered minor injuries.
