VALLEJO, CA (November 30, 2021) – A police chase led to a fiery crash on Carquinez Bridge on November 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Pomona Street shortly before 11:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, deputies with the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office were chasing suspects for an unknown reason prior to the crash. Subsequently, the suspects’ car crashed into another car. Then, the impact caused both vehicles to burst into flames.
 
As a result, a bystander suffered minor injuries in the incident.
