Peter Frizzell Dead after Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101 near Robin Williams Tunnel in Marin

 
MARIN, CA (February 21, 2022) – Authorities identified 33-year-old Peter Andrew Frizzell of Sausalito as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Highway 101, Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on February 17 at about 6:47 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a northbound motorcycle lost control. Then, the motorcycle slammed into a guardrail near Robin Williams Tunnel.
 
The impact of the collision ejected the rider from his motorcycle.
 
Emergency crews pronounced the rider, later identified as Frizzell, dead at the scene.
 
As per reports, no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
