Person Dies in Pedestrian Accident at 5 Freeway in Arleta

 
ARLETA, CA (June 13, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian crash at the 5 Freeway and Highway 170 interchange on Friday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters responded to reports of a pedestrian struck around 9:56 p.m. Upon responding, firefighters found a person deceased at the scene who might have been hit by multiple cars.
 
At this time, California Highway Patrol officers have no word on the leading cause of the crash or the manner in which the crash took place.
 
However, they have yet to identify the details of this incident.
