Person Dies in Winchester Pedestrian Crash on Winchester Road

 
WINCHESTER, CA (May 2, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on Winchester Road near Scott Road on Saturday.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatal accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver traveling on Winchester Road south of Scott Road struck a pedestrian.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene but pronounced the victim deceased shortly after.
 
At this time, reports included no information on the driver involved or the leading cause of the crash.
 
Although, any witnesses with information surrounding this incident should contact the California Highway Patrol.
