Person Dies in Apple Valley Pedestrian Crash on Rancherias Road

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (February 3, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on Rancherias Road near Symeron Road on Tuesday evening.
 
According to a Sheriff’s news release, the accident happened around 6:14 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a northbound driver in a silver Honda Accord struck a pedestrian crossing eastbound.
 
As a result of the crash, the victim suffered severe injuries and died at St. Mary’s hospital.
 
As for the driver, that person stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
