Person Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Cajalco Road in Perris

 
PERRIS, CA (March 29, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on Cajalco Road at Cam. Del Sol on Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 3:45 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver swerved into a pedestrian and then into another car, injuring at least four other people.
 
Due to the impact, the pedestrian suffered severe injuries and died later either at a hospital or at the scene. At this time, reports featured no information on the gender and age of the victim.
 
As for the driver and four others involved in the accident, authorities released no details about their condition or whether police gave out a citation or made an arrest. However, if any witnesses have information to share with the CHP, please contact the department.
