LOST HILLS, CA (July 1, 2021) — A person died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Highway 46 near Brown Material Road Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 3:30 a.m. Under unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck a pedestrian west of Brown Material Road. Shortly after, officers arrived and found the pedestrian deceased at the scene and the driver unaccounted for.
